GRANT APPLICATION GUIDELINES

The Sierra Madre Community Foundation (SMCF) is recognized by the United States Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. We are a non-profit and nonpartisan organization serving the Sierra Madre community.

The Mission of the SMCF is as follows:

Distribute funds to support Sierra Madre activities, events, organizations, and programs to help make Sierra Madre the unique and wonderful community that it is.

  1. Engage with the community such that Sierra Madre maintains its local charm and sense of community.

  2. Support our beloved city so that it thrives and continues to be a unique hillside treasure and valued neighborhood for families, businesses, and community groups.

SMCF Grant Applications

SMCF Grant applications are reviewed and considered at Sierra Madre Community Foundation Board (SMCF) Meetings, which are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the months of January, March, May, July, September, & November.   Completed Grant Applications are due and must be received by the SMCF by the first Friday of the month’s of January, March, May, July, September, or November to be considered at that month’s SMCF Board Meeting.
