Foundation Makes Major Investment in Library

  • October 11, 2015

The Sierra Madre Community Foundation was proud to join the Sierra Madre Rotary and other community groups and individuals in supporting the renovations of the Children’s Room at the Sierra Madre Public Library. The Foundation made a $15,000 grant to the efforts in early 2012, and was proud to be on hand at the grand opening and ribbon cutting for the new space on June 7, 2012. All in attendance applauded the efforts of current and past Library staff to make this project happen, and their ingenuity in improving the room for future young learners given the available space and resources.
